Hi, I’m Jacquie Elliott. I’m a Certified Life, Relationship, and Spiritual Coach, author, retreat leader, and someone who has spent years learning how to quiet the loud, judgmental voice in my own head. My journey through Abusive Brain Chatter™—and out the other side—shaped not only my life, but the work I feel called to share.
I wrote The Silent Bully: A Journey from Abusive Brain Chatter to Self-Love because I know what it feels like to doubt yourself, shrink yourself, and carry old stories that no longer belong to you. I also know the freedom that comes from challenging those thoughts and discovering the truth: we are far more resilient, wise, and lovable than we realize.
When I’m not writing or coaching, you can usually find me leading retreats, exploring new places, laughing with friends, or soaking up inspiration from everyday life. I believe deeply in compassion, curiosity, and giving ourselves the same grace we offer everyone else.
My husband Jack, and I travel and share our time between Bend, Oregon and Guanajuato Mexico, with our cherished cat Cosette. We also added a month of traveling through Europe a few years ago.
I feel blessed that I learned how to create a life that works for me and did the work to remove obstacles and beliefs that were holding me back from traveling. I believe that this is possible for everyone to do and my book speaks to that and offers helpful tools to help you become your authentic self.
My hope is that my work feels like a conversation with a friend—one who gets it, one who cheers for you, and one who reminds you that you deserve to feel at home in your own mind and heart.
