Darren Evans

Darren Evans is a sustainability consultant, behaviour design expert, and founder of Darren Evans Ltd one of the worlds leading consultancies helping the built environment deliver healthy, sustainable buildings that truly perform.

With more than two decades of hands-on experience working with major developers, architects, and government-sector organisations, Darren is known for bringing clarity to some of the most complex challenges in construction. His work focuses on increasing a team’s ability to plan, design, and deliver sustainable buildings by cutting through the time, cost, and complexity that hold projects back.

Darren is one of a small number of professionals in the industry trained directly by Dr BJ Fogg, the world’s leading behaviour scientist at Stanford University. His unique combination of technical knowledge and behavioural insight has made him a trusted voice for organisations who want sustainability to be more than a tick-box exercise.

He is also the host of the Thrive in Construction podcast, where he speaks with industry leaders about what it really takes to create buildings that work for people, for communities, and for the planet.

The Sustainability Advantage is Darren’s first book. It brings together his experience, research, and belief that sustainability shouldn’t be difficult it should be the easiest, most natural choice in every project.
