Edward Collins

Ed Collins is a veteran, storyteller, and Appalachian-rooted author whose work explores music, memory, faith, and the long shadows cast by the places that raise us. A retired U.S. Navy Chief with twenty years of service, Ed brings the same discipline and honesty to his writing that defined his military career.

His debut novel, Appalachian High – A Dreamer’s Tale, opens the trilogy 3 Chords and a Lie, a character-driven series grounded in coal country heritage, small-town loyalty, and the redemptive power of song. Drawing heavily from Appalachian culture, working-class life, and personal experience, Ed writes stories about flawed people chasing purpose in a world that rarely offers easy answers.

When he is not writing, Ed is a photographer, videographer, and music-focused content creator under the Fouled Anchor Music banner. He lives in the United States, still chasing good stories, honest songs, and the belief that some truths are only found the hard way.
