Daniela Conrady

Daniela Conrady lives with her husband, their four children, a Bernese Mountain Dog, two cats, and two rabbits on a small farm on the Northwestern coast of Germany. For more than 20 years, the business graduate and mother of four has worked as a freelance journalist and PR consultant. She loves working, and playing, with words.

She has always told her children her own stories at bedtime—so writing a children’s book felt like a natural next step. And when the two cats, Cinnamon and Sugar, moved in and stole her heart, the first book was “born.” The second is currently in progress. The wonderful and sometimes turbulent everyday adventures with her four-legged housemates leave plenty of hope for more heartwarming cat stories to come.

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her family. She especially loves the North Sea—whenever she’s by the water, new ideas keep coming to her.
