G. Mitchell was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. She is the proud mother of four daughters and a devoted grandmother. A lifelong learner and passionate servant leader, she holds an associate's degree in ministry from Ministry International, a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, and a master's degree in public administration from Governors State University. Currently working in the public sector, G. Mitchell balances her professional life with her love for travel and crochet.
Her mission is to expose, enlighten, and educate others about the lasting impact of generational trauma—particularly its effects on children. She writes to inspire fatherless and motherless individuals who may be hesitant to share their stories, offering hope and healing through her words. Her message is clear: no matter your journey, God can bring you through.
