Jacqueline D. High is a children’s author and the creative light behind Whispering Lighthouse Publishing. She is inspired by her daughter, and the light she shines on a daily basis. Her debut picture book, YIKES! The Lighthouse Light Is Out!, introduces Dennis — a gentle, inventive mouse — and Blue, a curious young bluebird learning to spread his wings. Together, they bring heart and humor to a seaside world where friendship and perseverance shine as brightly as any beacon.
