Nancy F. Goodfellow always dreamed of being a writer, but it wasn’t until her first child was born with Down syndrome that she understood her true calling. She has spent over twenty years advocating for inclusion - writing articles and stories about her own experiences and presenting to both adults and children about common misconceptions. She now focuses on school presentations, helping students understand intellectual disabilities and how understanding leads to acceptance. When she isn’t writing or presenting, Nancy is with her husband and three children in suburban Chicago, planning ambitious trips and setting a brisk walking pace.
