Karen P Collier

Karen Collier writes and speaks to help Christian women move from feeling not enough to knowing they are deeply loved by God. A gifted Bible study teacher, Christian speaker, and women’s ministry leader, she invites women to experience God’s transforming grace through biblical truth, honest encouragement, and practical faith.

For more than 30 years, Karen has taught Bible studies and led women’s retreats across the United States and internationally—including events for military spouses stationed overseas. Her heart for ministry was shaped by decades of walking with women and families through real-life challenges, listening to their stories, and reminding them that faith flourishes even in life’s hardest seasons. Her teaching blends Scripture-rooted insight, authentic storytelling, and real-world application, helping women grow a faith that endures beyond the classroom or conference.

As a Master Gardener, Karen loves drawing parallels between gardening and spiritual growth. She sees God’s hand in every season—the planting, the pruning, the waiting, and the harvest. Her approach to ministry mirrors this truth: faith takes root slowly, often unseen, but always with purpose. Through her writing and speaking, Karen encourages women to tend their hearts like gardens—patiently, prayerfully, and with hope for what God will grow next.

In addition to her women’s ministry work, Karen is the author of the Wandering Tails children’s adventure series, inspired by her years living in Germany with her beloved corgi, Jack. Together, they explored castle ruins, cobblestone streets, and countryside trails that later became the heart of her books. These stories spark curiosity and conversation about travel, courage, and kindness, inviting families to see God’s beauty in the world around them.

Karen and her husband make their home in Wimberley, Texas, surrounded by the wild beauty of the Hill Country, their four children, and eight beloved grandchildren. She loves to travel, explore new places, and draw inspiration from the ordinary wonders of life. Most days, you’ll find her on the front porch with a cup of hot tea, a good book, and gratitude for the view—thanking God for the stories still to come.
