Tina Wright

Tina Wright is an accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist, mindfulness teacher, and mind body coach with more than seventeen years of clinical experience helping people overcome the emotional and physical challenges that hold them back from living freely. Her work is grounded in science, shaped by compassion, and deeply informed by her own remarkable journey to health.

Tina knows first-hand what it is like to live in a body that does not always cooperate. Having personally achieved long term remission from several health conditions including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, fibromyalgia, tinnitus, migraines, TMJD, anxiety, depression, and trauma, she brings a rare blend of professional expertise and lived experience to everything she teaches. Her approach bridges the gap between mind and body, empowering readers and clients to understand how thoughts, emotions, and physiology interact, and how, by gently retraining that connection, healing can begin.

Over nearly two decades, Tina has supported thousands of clients to break free from cycles of pain, fear, and frustration using evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and mindfulness based approaches. Her clients often come to her feeling trapped by their symptoms, stress, or self criticism, and leave feeling calmer, more confident, and more capable of managing life on their terms.

Her signature approach, known as the PETAL Plan, offers a holistic, practical framework for restoring balance and wellbeing. Each letter represents one of the five key foundations of recovery: Physical, Emotions, Thoughts, Actions, and Love and Loss. Together, they create a roadmap for healing through understanding rather than fear. The PETAL Plan combines modern psychological science about the gut brain connection and nervous system regulation with a compassionate and accessible approach that makes it easy to apply in daily life.

Tina’s philosophy is simple: lasting change does not come from trying harder; it comes from understanding yourself better. She teaches people how to listen to their bodies without panic, manage stress without guilt, and build habits that support health even when life becomes busy or unpredictable.

In her online practice, Evolve, Tina works internationally with ambitious, motivated professionals who often appear in control on the outside but secretly feel exhausted, anxious, or stuck, especially when living with conditions such as IBS. Through one to one therapy, her group programme The IBS Remission Mission, and her courses and books, she helps them reconnect with their bodies, rebuild self trust, and rediscover the freedom to live fully again.

Tina’s teaching is refreshingly real and relatable. She does not promise overnight cures or perfection. Instead, she offers the insight, structure, and compassion needed to create genuine, sustainable progress. Whether she is helping someone manage a flare up, navigate workplace stress, or make peace with their body after years of frustration, Tina meets people exactly where they are.

In her writing, Tina brings complex science to life through relatable stories, gentle humour, and practical exercises that readers can immediately use. Her work encourages people to see symptoms not as enemies to be battled but as messages of imbalance to be understood. By combining the rigour of psychological science with mindfulness, compassion, and mind body wisdom, she helps readers move from self blame to self awareness, and from symptom management to true healing.

Her debut book, Master Your IBS: A Practical Guide to Rewiring Your Gut Brain Connection, distils years of clinical experience and personal insight into a clear, step by step guide for anyone struggling with IBS or gut related anxiety. It introduces readers to the PETAL Plan, combining cognitive, emotional, and physical strategies into one cohesive system for change. With empathy and clarity, Tina shows how understanding the gut brain connection can reduce symptoms, restore confidence, and transform the way we relate to our bodies.

Beyond her clinical and teaching work, Tina is passionate about making mind body health understandable and accessible to everyone. Through her publishing company, Arancia Publishing, she creates evidence based health and wellness books that empower readers with practical tools for self care. She also runs Liberated Life with Tina, a project that promotes lifestyle products and tools to support emotional and physical wellbeing, all with the same values of ease, empowerment, and independence that guide her work.

When she is not seeing clients, writing, or supporting her IBS Remission Mission community, Tina enjoys walking her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Smiler, along the beautiful beaches and woodland trails of East Norfolk. She finds peace and inspiration in nature, believing that simple, mindful moments in the outdoors are often where healing truly begins.

A lifelong learner, Tina continues to expand her knowledge of the mind body connection, integrating the latest research in neuroscience, psychology, and gut health into her evolving practice. Her work is grounded in her core belief that self awareness and compassion are not luxuries but essential ingredients for recovery and resilience.

Through her writing, Tina hopes to reach those who feel isolated by their symptoms or discouraged after years of trial and error. Her message is hopeful and realistic: you can retrain your body’s responses, calm your gut, and restore your quality of life, not by fighting yourself but by understanding yourself.

Whether you meet her through her books, her courses, or her online community, you will find in Tina a guide who truly understands — someone who has walked the path from overwhelm to empowerment and is ready to help you do the same.
