Janet Bell

Janet Bell was inspired to write Sunny the Coast Guard Dog's Dynamite Adventure after visiting Coast Guard stations with her grandchildren. A passionate dog lover, Janet has long believed in the healing and educational power of animals. She and her collie, Fendi, served as a Good Dog Foundation therapy team, helping children build reading confidence in schools and libraries. A dedicated community volunteer and attorney, she also represents nonprofit organizations. Janet wrote this story to hep kids understand that superpowers are not limited to the obvious. With hard work and focus come many possibilities, some quite novel. She brings her love of dogs and tradition of helping others to every page of this heartwarming story.
