Minyong Ihm

A native Korean who spent half a lifetime in Seoul and seven years wandering through California and Washington. Now tucked away in a quiet mountain town at the heart of Korea, Ihm enjoys reading, writing, and reflecting on all things K—both online and off.

Drawing on a background in literature and Korean language education, Ihm is dedicated to creative publishing and storytelling that illuminate the many layers of Korean culture. Ihm also creates the book’s visual world — including the illustration of Susucat, the curious feline guide inspired by a real-life companion.
