Lissa Kennedy

Lissa Kennedy is a nature native who grew up on the beach in Southern California and has lived along the Wasatch Front in Utah for over 20 years. She earned her BS in Psychology and continued on to be trained as a Certified Nature & Forest Therapy guide through ANFT.

Inspired by her experiences with the healing power of nature, she created Wasatch Forest Therapy in 2017 and guides private groups through forest bathing and spiritual nature sessions. She also offers international nature connection retreats to sacred lands and loves the wisdom, magic, and wonder that place can hold for us.

In 2019, Lissa created Wildwood Forest School, a nature immersion school for ages 3-9 years. Teaching and guiding children in the forest is one of her greatest joys. She feels this is a sacred work and calling and is honored to offer whole-child education to her community. She believes that children who grow up in love and relationship with Mother Earth are the ones who will protect and care for her into adulthood.

She is the author of An Invitation to Forest Bathing: 52 Activity Cards to Find Yourself in Nature and co-created the deck to inspire and guide others in their own personal nature connection practice.
