Meet DG Videtto, Children’s Author & Conservation Advocate

DG Videtto is the creative force behind The Woodlands Series LLC, a children’s book series dedicated to environmental themes and the challenges faced by animals in today’s world. Through engaging fictional tales like The Impervious Forest, Riley the Amazing, and Loon Island on Leavitt Bay, DG inspires young readers to appreciate nature, understand animal survival, and consider the impact of human development. The third book, Loon Island on Leavitt Bay, celebrates successful local conservation efforts, encouraging families to explore and protect the natural world together.

DG enjoys RV travel, maintaining her own woodland trail and bike riding. Inspiration for her writing comes from nature and local rural communities which she enjoys capturing images and transforming as Digital Pastel Prints.
