Laurie Powers LeBlanc

Laurie Powers LeBlanc is a daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who loves reading and sharing stories with children. Inspired by her mother, who frequently contributed thought provoking pieces to their local hometown newspaper, Laurie grew up surrounded by words, writing and creative thoughts.

A lifelong lover of nature and the outdoors, Laurie believes in God and the universe, and the idea that each of us is exactly where we are meant to be in every moment - whether good or not so good. Now, at this point in her life, writing children’s bedtime stories is where she is meant to be!

Born and raised in the small town of Newburyport, MA, Laurie went to school there, raised her family there and continues to happily call it home with her husband of 34 years.

Her guiding mantra is simple…. “Be good to others, live well with nature and always be kind to yourself.”
