Daniel J. Batty

Daniel J. Batty is an accomplished author, developer, and culture-driven leader whose career bridges construction, creativity, and compassion. He is the author of No EGO Policy: Culture Reimagined – Leading with Love & Authenticity, a transformative guide to leadership that blends real-world business lessons with the timeless power of empathy and purpose.

A lifelong builder at heart, Daniel’s journey began on job sites alongside his father, where he learned that integrity and hard work form the truest foundations of success. Over two decades, he has held executive roles with some of America’s most recognizable brands, including McDonald’s, Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s, Dunkin’, and Dutch Bros Coffee, where he helped scale development across one of the nation's fastest-growing franchise systems.

Honored by the California State Legislature and the County of Orange for his community leadership, Daniel has also been published in outlets such as Even Par Magazine and the San Clemente Journal, and contributed to The Question Book (Thomas Nelson Publishers) and The Author’s Playbook (2024).

A native of Southern California, Daniel travels extensively but enjoys his time with family. When he’s not writing or building, he’s mentoring emerging leaders, supporting Surfers Healing, or catching waves in San Clemente.
