Colton Meschke

Colton Meschke is a six-year-old baseball-playing, adventure-loving storyteller who believes every kid deserves to feel strong, capable, and proud of who they are. Whether he’s riding bikes, building obstacle courses in the backyard, or imagining new worlds through play, Colton brings curiosity, humor, and big feelings to everything he does.

His Body Can is Colton’s very first book, inspired by the everyday moments where he learned that bodies aren’t just for sports or doing big things, but also for feeling, resting, helping, and being kind. Colton hopes his book helps other kids know that their bodies are amazing exactly as they are.

He lives in Atlanta with his mom and dad, and together they split their time between the farm and the beach, always finding something new to explore. When he’s not creating stories, you’ll probably find him playing baseball, reading, or giving the world’s best hugs.
