Angelo Giovanni De Boni

Angelo Giovanni De Boni is a visual artist, essayist, and cultural communicator.

His work moves across art, philosophy, and narrative, exploring the threshold between the visible and the invisible, between light and silence. Trained as a painter, he has developed a personal poetics grounded in essentiality, subtraction, and the investigation of inner “wounds” as thresholds of awareness.

Alongside his visual practice, he has built a body of narrative and essayistic work that reflects on time, identity, perception, and the apparent uselessness of things—often approached with an ironic and disenchanted gaze.

For De Boni, writing is a natural extension of painting: another way of carving space, this time through words.
