David Siroky is Professor of International Relations and Director of the Violence, Conflict and Security Lab at the University of Florida. He has received major grants from the U.S. National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of State, and National Council for Eurasian and East European Research, along with research fellowships from the Fulbright Foundation, Zentrum fuer Interkulturelle Studien in Germany and Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme in France. His research has appeared in two books and more than 40 scholarly articles in leading scientific journals, and has been recognized with the Deil S. Wright Award and the Stanley Hoffman Prize from the American Political Science Association.
