Todd Tolson

Todd Tolson is an author, advocate, and accessibility leader dedicated to transforming adversity into empowerment. Appointed in 2024 by the Governor of Maryland to the Maryland State Rehabilitation Council, he helps shape policies that promote equity and independence for people with disabilities.

As Founder and Executive Director of the Blind Muse Foundation, Todd bridges the gap between sighted and blind communities through storytelling, education, and technology. He creates accessible documentaries with audio description, ensuring every story can be seen, heard, and felt by all. Trained through the Department of Homeland Security’s Trusted Tester Program, he consults nationally on digital accessibility and prepares businesses for new ADA standards.

His memoir, The Sissy, The Alchemist, The Man, explores identity, resilience, and self-reflection—showing how pain can become power and transformation begins within.
