Kelly Dye

Kelly Dye is a storyteller whose work centers on imagination, comfort, and the quiet courage it takes to step into the unknown. She is the author of The Comfiest Pillow, a children’s picture book inspired by the bedtime stories she created for her son—stories that grew from moments of reassurance, wonder, and love. Those same impromptu tales later became the foundation for her first chapter book, The Secret of Gigglewood Grove, an adventure that invites readers into a magical forest where friendship and bravery guide the way.

Kelly’s writing is shaped by her background in English and organizational leadership, as well as by family life, where storytelling is a daily joy. When she is not writing, she enjoys reading, trying new foods, and spending time with her family and her cat.

She believes stories are a place where fears soften, curiosity grows, and imagination feels like home.
