Hello, is this on?

This is Chris...topher. Beyers. As of 10/27/2025, I am 36 years young. Pretty soon I'll be 37, like Brandon Graham was when he unretired from the NFL to be an edge-rusher for The Eagles. Go Brandon! (That's just a fun fact. You don't have to read too much into it.)

Like Brandon, I hope I have at least one more good season of football in front of me. Err, that's not right. I mean, I hope I've still got something left in the tank. In my case, as an author. I would be surprised if my personal well of ideas dried up within the next couple of decades. Could I have half a century? As long as I don't tear a pectoral muscle. (At my age, it's hard to get up again.)

I'm going to be honest, it's hard for me to take a bio seriously. So: my favorite author and influence is Kurt Vonnegut. If I took human anatomy I probably could have gone pre-med, like my lovely wife Lisa. I am a cereal dabbler in the noble craft of writing, both in fiction and creative non-fiction.
