Cooper Chapman is a former professional surfer turned mental health advocate, speaker, and author on a mission to make wellbeing simple, practical, and accessible for everyone.
After spending a decade competing on the World Surf League, Cooper realised that success in sport and life means little without inner peace. Channeling the same discipline he brought to surfing, he founded The Good Human Factory, an education-based mental health organisation that has empowered over 50,000 students and worked with more than 100 leading organisations including Apple, Red Bull, Amazon, Westpac, Ray White, Origin Energy, and Coles, helping their teams manage stress, improve productivity, and build lasting wellbeing skills.
Cooper also hosts the Good Humans Podcast, a top 1% global show listened to in over 180 countries, where he interviews world-class athletes, neuroscientists, health experts, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders to uncover practical tools for a happier, more grounded life.
His debut book, The 1% Good Club, distills over seven years of mental health education and personal experience into simple daily habits anyone can use to improve their mindset, rooted in mindfulness, gratitude, breathwork, and kindness. The book expands on Cooper’s powerful concept of dedicating just 14 minutes a day to mental health, a framework that has been adopted by thousands across the world.
Through his speaking, writing, and podcasting, Cooper blends surfing wisdom, positive psychology, neuroscience, and self-help strategies to inspire readers to take action for their mental wellbeing, just 1% at a time.
