Karen Bachmann

Karen Bachmann is an Australian author, educator and illustrator. She co-authored Fostering Changes®, an evidence-based training programme that equips foster and kin carers to build stronger relationships, respond to trauma and support children with challenging behaviour.

Drawing on her faith and more than three decades in leadership, Karen is writing a series on Biblical leadership in practice. These books challenge common misconceptions and highlight the practice of discipleship and shepherding - distilled into practical wisdom for Churches and the workplace.

Karen also writes and illustrates children's books inspired by the real stories and personalities of the children in her family - joyful, imaginative tales that celebrate curiosity, kindness and belonging.

Across research, leadership and picture books, her aim is the same: to help people grow in strength, truth and creativity - one page at a time.
