Steve Cipriano

Steve Cipriano is a Mexican-American educator, author, and creator of MisterC TV, a growing YouTube channel that brings social-emotional learning (SEL) and music to life for classrooms across the country. A graduate of the University of North Texas at Dallas, he served as president of the nationally recognized “They Call Me MISTER” teacher leadership program. As a special education teacher, Steve draws from over a decade of classroom experience to create stories and songs that help children feel seen, understood, and inspired.

Beyond teaching, Steve is also a street artist known as Nvade, whose work has appeared across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. His creative projects range from the SEL picture book When My Balloon Gets Big to the young adult novel ’95, a coming-of-age story set in 1990s Dallas that blends faith, family, and hip-hop culture. Through every project, Steve aims to celebrate community, creativity, and the power of storytelling.
