Eric Kubat

The author lives in the Upper Midwest with their wife, three children, a dog, and a bird. They have worked in public safety since 2002, a career that has provided deep insight into human nature, hardship, and quiet moments of connection. When they are not working or writing, they enjoy being outdoors—hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, and golfing whenever time allows.

Their interest in writing began with a creative writing class during their sophomore year of college. After more than twenty years focused on career and family, they made a deliberate decision to return to storytelling. Drawing from real-world experience and a strong sense of place, they now focus on creating stories that feel grounded, authentic, and meaningful.
