Sudip Bhaduri

I am a retired General Medical Practitioner now aged 66, who worked for the British National Health Service for 34 years, 27 as a GP in Lincolnshire. I have always had a desire to write a novel since my father died suddenly in the Christmas of 1983. I have written for local newspapers as a medic, but contributing sports and movie reviews . My writing journey began in 2021. The authors I have looked up to, include John Grisham and Lee Child. I have also hosted a movie show on BBC Radio for 5 years. My hobbies range from road running to painting. The death of my father inspired me to write my first thriller as a form of therapeutic catharsis. My supportive wife is also a keen artist and writer and I have a loyal fan in Dora, my gorgeous cockapoo. In March 2016, at the point of hanging up my stethoscope, a BBC colleague gave me the ammunition to contemplate writing a novel. A new lease of life began. For my sins, I am an avid supporter of Manchester United since 1966.
