Frank Cavallo, a.k.a. Francesco Cavallo, is a writer and musician born in Naples in 1972. He lives and works in Pompei (Naples). His fiction weaves noir, urban fantasy, and elements of the Neapolitan esoteric tradition, with a strong focus on the city as a character in its own right.
In parallel, Frank plays and produces music which blends *poliziottesco* (’70s Italian crime-cinema) aesthetics with a grindcore attitude. As an essayist and communicator, he has worked on two fronts: the history of alchemy and AI literacy for young readers, with particular attention to ethical issues.
Professionally, he also works on process automation and data-driven tools. The throughline of his work: telling how bonds and choices make us human—even when the world tries to make us mechanical.
