Orfeo Dargenio

Orfeo Dargenio, born in Padua in 1980, has built a solid career in the field of Local Police, combining extensive on-the-ground experience with a high-level academic background. He holds a Law degree, a second university degree, a Master’s degree in Public Administration, and a two-year postgraduate specialization.

His professional journey began in 2001 with the Italian Army, and since 2008 he has served in the Local Police. Over the years, he has held various leadership positions and is currently the Chief of the Local Police of Borgo Veneto (Padua). Throughout his career, he has also served in the Padua West Municipal Police Consortium, the City of Monselice (PD), and the municipalities of Ponso (PD), San Pietro Viminario (PD), and Lusia (Rovigo), as well as commanding the Central Polesine Local Police (Bagnolo di Po).

During his career, he has received numerous institutional awards, including several Official Commendations and the prestigious Commendation from the President of the Veneto Region for his commitment during the 2010 flood emergency that struck the region. He has also been honored for acts of bravery, such as rescuing a woman from a violent assault and arresting an armed robber.

Recognized for years as a trainer for the Local Police, Dargenio regularly participates in professional conferences and seminars. Today, he is also dedicated to writing, publishing training manuals and essays on geopolitics with the goal of making complex concepts accessible and supporting those who aspire to join the ranks of the Local Police.
