Maria Doyle has more than 30 years’ experience in teaching, learning, teacher training, developing curriculum and managing education projects in Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Pacific, North America and Scandinavia. Her areas of expertise include instructional design, curriculum and learning resource development, teacher training, project management, assessment and evaluation, and professional development. Maria believes ‘death by PowerPoint’, and ‘tick and flick’ style learning belong firmly in the past. All profits from this book go directly to Maria’s ‘Paying It Forward’ project, providing annual volunteer teacher training sessions in places that have restricted access to quality teacher education.
