Cameron Aldinger

Cameron Aldinger is a children’s book author best known for his debut series A Cowboy Called Ransom.

Originally from Montana, Cameron draws inspiration from the land and values he grew up with—hard work, family, and faith. Now living in California, he continues to write stories that reflect those same roots and the lessons learned along the way.

His love of history and story craft also inspired The Fire in the Folds—a deeply human story exploring love, loss, and resilience.

A devoted husband and father, Cameron finds his greatest inspiration in his children, whose curiosity and courage continue to spark new stories—and in his wife, whose steady wisdom keeps his work (and his heart) on course.
