About Hartmut Behnke – Arthur Fantasy

From the picturesque tranquility of the Rheingau in Germany, Hartmut Behnke, affectionately known as Arthur Fantasy among his friends, draws the inspiration for his works.

Accompanied by the Maltese dog Lucy and the Shi Tzu Merlin, he finds his deepest ideas in the stillness of nature. Music inspires him as much as the desire to create a contrast to the hectic everyday life. This interplay between hectic reality and soothing fantasy is the heartbeat of his stories.

Whether in his relaxing coloring books or his narrative works, Hartmut Behnke creates worlds that spark the imagination and invite readers to dream. His books are bridges to the magic of the everyday, not just for children, but for adults, too.

Dive into a world full of feeling and contrast that you won't soon forget.

(The name Arthur Fantasy on the covers is a greeting to his friends and a promise of the fantastic content within the books.)
