Tjitske Kamphuis

Tjitske is a Dutch artist, illustrator and author. Inspired by landscapes, weather and wildlife, she draws on close observations of nature, its patterns and rhythms to create atmospheric stories for young readers. Her debut picture book “I'm a Cloud” came out in 2025 and “Go Crow” in 2026. When not drawing or writing, she enjoys travelling around Britain and Europe by train and hiking with her teenage sons and husband from her base in Canterbury, UK.
