Ashley Haislet

Hi, I'm Ashley Haislet, and if you've made it this far, thank you. You should know right up front that I'm a 37-year-old mom of four, two of whom are my wonderful bonus children.

For years, I was running on empty, working 45-hour weeks with next to no time for my kids. Now, with the birth of our last child, I finally have the opportunity to stay home. Having seen both sides of the parenting coin, I started writing books because, frankly, it's cheaper than therapy.

I wrote F*ck Postpartum because I needed to speak the raw, ugly truth of this journey and let other mothers know they are not alone. And it's why I also started a storybook series—I'm sick of the "cookie-cutter crap" they shove down our kids' throats about being rescued by a prince or having a happy ending. I believe a princess should be able to save herself, and not everything we do has a happy ending.

I write the books I wish I had. I hope my words make you feel heard, seen, and ready to be the hero of your own story.
