Catherine Ard

Catherine Ard has always loved reading and putting things down in words. She studied French and English literature at Liverpool University, then worked as an editor for children’s publishers in London and Bath. She has gone on to write reference books on all kinds of subjects, from astronauts and art to the human body, but she specialises in books about wildlife and the natural world. She lives in Bristol with her family and their little dog, where she combines her passion for books with her love of the great outdoors.
