Hi, I’m Kennedy Layne, a hopeless romantic who believes in soft mornings, sparkly days, and stories filled with heart, healing, and all the spice. I write small-town love stories with big feelings and a little Southern magic. When I’m not lost in a fictional world, I’m probably cuddling my pups—Prince Charming, my spoiled Maltese (Char for short), and Presley Grace, my mischievous mini Goldendoodle.

I live in Hopeulikit, Georgia (yes, it’s real!) with my sister, just down the road from my parents and the house where we grew up. I stay involved in my community and volunteer as a librarian at my church, but I’m always dreaming of my next beach getaway or Disney adventure.

I’m a proud Swiftie who knows there’s a lyric for everything, believes iced tea with Splenda (because, well…diabetes) can fix most things, and will forever insist that The Vampire Diaries is peak television. You can always find me cheering for the Atlanta Braves and my beloved Georgia Southern Eagles—Hail Southern!
