Dr. Jill M. Davis is a professor of education, author, and speaker who empowers educators to be catalysts for change. With over 25 years in early childhood education, she champions equity-driven advocacy, trauma-responsive practices, and developmentally appropriate teaching. She co-authored “From Breakdowns to Breakthroughs: 10 Simple Strategies to Reduce Disruptions and Create Trauma-Responsive Classrooms” with Dr. Katie Fields and co-edited a book on advocacy in education. Jill’s love of reading began early, nurtured by her sister Melena and a stack of Little Golden Books. Her literary journey continued with her favorite childhood author, Beverly Cleary—she still sees herself in Ramona Quimby. Today, her bookshelves are filled with educational nonfiction, true crime, YA fiction, and memoirs. She also enjoys crafting, gardening, crossword puzzles, and family game nights with her husband and two children. Connect with Jill on Facebook and LinkedIn at DrJillDavis.
