Kamila Kuc

Kamila Kuc is a Polish filmmaker and author based between London and Seattle. Her creative work unfolds at the intersection of performance and documentary, testimony and dream to explore ecologies of memory, ancestral wisdom, and embodied resistance. I am drawn to exploring how we relate to one another - emotionally, historically, politically - through gestures of trust, repair, and shared presence that emerge in moments of vulnerability and exchange. Her award-winning films have screened in over 20 countries and her work has been extensively reviewed by a leading documentary film scholar, Dara Waldron in the 10th edition of Found Footage Magazine (October 2024).
