Like many people becoming an author had been my dream since childhood, but everyone told me that writing was not a real job, so after college I spend the next twenty years or so in sales and marketing, including working in the marketing department for a traditional publisher.
In 2011 some serious health struggles meant that it became impossible for me to continue working, as life slowly settled into a new normal I studied for an Open University degree, started a blog, and at time of writing this I have four fiction and four non-fiction titles.
After spending years having my brain picked I began mentoring in 2021 and in 2023 I was accepted as one of a handful of Alliance of Independent Authors approved mentors.
Personally, I am late diagnosed autistic with a love of border collies and gardening.
