Jerrelle Guy is the award-winning author of Black Girl Baking, which was also a finalist for a James Beard Award, and the author of WE FANCY: Simple Recipes to Make the Everyday Special. She is a celebrated food photographer for award-winning books including "Jubilee: Recipes from Two Centuries of African American Cooking" and "Rodney Scott's World of BBQ: Every Day Is a Good Day." She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and received her master’s in gastronomy from Boston University.
