D. K. Henderson

D. K. (Dawn) Henderson is, to use her own words, ‘an eternal spiritual adventurer, coffee guzzler and chocolate muncher.’ She lives in the ancient, mystical county of Wiltshire, a landscape of towering megaliths and long-empty tombs, close to the massive, enigmatic stone circle at Avebury. She also writes books.

After a relatively uneventful first three and a half decades on this planet, and following some major life upheavals, she left the normal world behind. She set out on a quest that took her deep into the realms of spirituality, becoming a Reiki Master and crystal therapist, leading meditation sessions and spiritual growth circles, and at one point owned a successful online crystal shop.

A serendipitous encounter with a powerful crystal skull in 2011 changed the trajectory of her life, inspiring her to write Lost Legacy, the first book of The Skull Chronicles series. The rest is history. Today, she shares her home with the family of crystal skulls that inspired, and continue to influence, her novels, weaving a mystical forgotten past with the 21st century: fast-paced, intriguing adventures which raise a question that just can’t be ignored:
