Carla Simmons was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, where she learned the value of faith, hospitality, and perseverance. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree at Liberty University and she holds several certifications from Apostolic Leadership Institute, Purpose Institute, and Ministry Central (UPCI). These certifications derived from Carla’s passion to study the Word of God, to apply His Word to her own life, and to teach His Word to others. Through her own journey of repentance and spiritual growth, God has blessed her with deep biblical insight, which she shares in the Bible studies she writes and teaches.
Carla lives in Pennsylvania with her husband where she is an active member of her church. zAlthough, her family are all in Tennessee, she visits them several times a year to nurture the family bond and ensure good memories for her grandchildren. Carla leads a weekly group on the seven aspects of repentance, called Uncommon Re-Covery. Through her speaking engagements, Bible studies, and this book, Carla seeks to share the hope, deliverance, and glory of God with all who read and hear her message.
