Emma Mellors is a Senior Lecturer in Advanced and Specialist Practice within the faculty of Health, Science and Technology at Oxford Brookes University and an External Examiner at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. A member of an interdisciplinary teaching team, Emma facilitates learning for a multidisciplinary group of advancing practice clinicians pursuing continual professional development (CPD) at postgraduate level and towards master's certification. She has written and published journal articles in clinical consultation and leadership in the field of advanced practice.
Emma is a registered physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council of the UK with a Master of Science in Pain Management from University College London (UCL). She has worked clinically across diverse specialties, including neurology, musculoskeletal health, respiratory care, frailty, palliative care, and general medicine. Her experience working across acute and community settings within the NHS, third and private sector brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to healthcare.
