Maria Vetrano

Maria Vetrano tried to save the whales when she was nine-years old. It didn’t quite work. But that didn’t quell her desire to ease some of the world’s ills in some small way, even if only through fiction. Maria’s first novel, Queen Bess: A Tudor Comes to Save America, is published by Regalo Press, with distribution by Simon & Schuster.

When she's not writing fiction, Maria is principal of Vetrano Communications, the PR and marketing firm that she founded in 2004 that specializes in deep-tech companies as clientele. Her first non-fiction trade book, Public Relations 101: Essential Guide to Deep Tech PR, stems from her desire to share best practices that will help companies to advance their messages in meaningful ways.

Maria received a BA in English from Colgate University. She lives with her human and animal family in Massachusetts.
