Matt Bertman is a seasoned Human Resources executive specializing in talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement. With over 25 years of experience, Matt most recently served as the Senior Director of Learning and Development for Indeed, the world’s #1 job site, where he leads a global team dedicated to empowering employees through accessible and impactful learning opportunities.

Throughout his career, Matt has played a pivotal role in shaping corporate learning strategies across multiple industries, including automotive, insurance, and real estate. His leadership at organizations like Gentherm, Amerisure Insurance Company, and Pulte Homes has driven key talent development initiatives, including the creation of corporate universities and advanced learning programs.

Matt’s contributions to the field have earned him industry recognition, including Chief Learning Officer magazine's Learning Practice Award for Leadership. He is also the author of "How to Partner," published by the Assocation for Talent Development (ATD). Matt holds both a bachelor’s degree in American Public Affairs and a master’s in Human Resource Management from Michigan State University. He resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with his wife and children.
