Nancy June Waldron

Nancy June Waldron is a coastal artist, author, and former educator whose work is deeply inspired by faith, family, and the beauty of the Florida Panhandle. After spending more than 30 years as a visual arts teacher working with gifted and talented students, Nancy turned her lifelong passion for creativity into writing, publishing, and handcrafted coastal art.

Living in the Florida Panhandle, Nancy creates books and artwork that reflect the peaceful charm of beach life, the comfort of faith, and the warmth of Southern traditions. She is the author of numerous inspirational devotionals, journals, coloring books, guest books, and family-centered stories, including her growing Whispers series featuring titles such as Whispers in the Louisiana Pines, Whispers by the Sea, Whispers of Faith, Whispers Through the Psalms, and Whispers of Comfort. Her books often combine Scripture, encouragement, journaling space, and coastal-inspired artwork designed to bring hope and peace to readers.

In addition to writing, Nancy is also known for her handcrafted oyster shell and sand dollar art sold through her business, “Nancy Waldron Coastal Art.” Her designs feature hand-painted coastal scenes, crosses, magnolias, nativity and beach-inspired keepsakes accented with gold leaf and resin finishes. Many of her creations celebrate the natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle of the Gulf Coast.

Nancy’s storytelling often reflects themes of faith, encouragement, family memories, and the simple joys found along the shore. Her love for North Louisiana, where she frequently returns to visit family and lifelong friends, also inspires much of her writing and storytelling. The piney woods, Southern traditions, and treasured memories of Louisiana life are woven throughout many of her creative works, including stories centered around family camps, nature, and small-town life.

Whether through a devotional page, a coloring book illustration, or a hand-painted shell, Nancy’s goal is to create meaningful works that uplift, inspire, and remind others of God’s grace in everyday life.

When she is not writing or painting, Nancy enjoys traveling between the Florida coast and North Louisiana, spending time with loved ones, gathering inspiration from nature, and creating new projects that celebrate faith, family, and life along the beach.
