Dr. Gaurav Kumar

Dr. Gaurav Kumar is currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology & Bioengineering at the School of Biosciences & Technology, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Additionally, he serves as the Head of the Institution’s Innovation Council, where he has played a pivotal role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship on campus. Dr. Kumar earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. His academic journey includes appointments as Assistant Professor at Shobhit University, Gangoh and Meerut, as well as teaching at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut. With a prolific research profile, Dr. Kumar has authored over 40 research and review papers in prestigious SCI/SCI-E/SCOPUS-indexed journals. He has contributed to four books and eight book chapters. His research interests span neuroprotection, wound healing, and drug discovery.
