Cynthia Ballenger

Cynthia has been a teacher for many years. She was a founding member of the Brookline Teacher Researcher Seminar and learned a great deal from that experience. Talking with friends and fellow teachers about students was largely what kept the joy in her work and developed and strengthened her curiosity about teaching and learning. She should be retired by now, but since she finds that children remain so interesting, and also bring so much curiosity and joy to her life, she still teaches part-time. You never stop learning how to teach.
