Michael Zoglio

Michael Zoglio is the author of the crime and terrorism thriller Escape From Ground Zero, a suspense novel blending investigative realism, international intrigue, and morally complex characters shaped by real-world events.

His writing draws on more than twenty years of experience as a private investigator specializing in missing persons cases. Early in his career, he worked as a Pinkerton detective investigating insurance fraud before joining a firm dedicated exclusively to locating missing individuals—experience that informs the procedural authenticity and psychological tension found in his fiction.

A Rhode Island native, Zoglio spent most of his adult life in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he founded and operated a printing and data services company. While running the business full time, he continued conducting missing persons investigations, blending analytical precision with real-world investigative experience.

Following the sale of his company, he counseled business owners on preparing their companies for sale and served as an intermediary in business acquisitions. He also volunteered for many years mentoring small business owners on enterprise value-building strategies.

Inspired shortly after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Escape From Ground Zero evolved over two decades into a character-driven thriller exploring deception, survival, organized crime, financial corruption, and redemption in a post-9/11 world.

His work appeals to readers who enjoy intelligent suspense, legal and financial intrigue, and internationally grounded thrillers featuring reluctant heroes navigating moral gray areas.
