Robert Coleridge

Robert Allen Coleridge was born in 1960 to military parents, a childhood that gave him the unique experience of growing up around the world and learning to appreciate diverse cultures. This global upbringing instilled in him a deep respect for people, places, and perspectives far beyond his own.

Robert’s professional journey has been just as dynamic. As a software engineer, he cultivated an analytical eye for life’s challenges, while his work as a pastor sharpened his ability to view those same challenges through a spiritual lens. Together, these experiences shaped his balanced approach to faith and life.

His writing journey began during his master’s thesis, where he discovered a love for writing that would grow into a lifelong calling. Since then, Robert has dedicated himself to creating Bible study materials that are clear, accessible, and firmly rooted in Scripture. Early in his career, he authored a paper on marriage, divorce, and remarriage that was adopted by a denomination to guide its regulations. It is a moment that confirmed for him the power of writing to influence and guide lives.

Beyond his professional and pastoral work, Robert enjoys underwater videography of shipwrecks, a pursuit that mirrors his fascination with depth and discovery. He also treasures time with his wife, whom he affectionately calls his “favorite hobby.”

At the heart of Robert’s work is a simple yet profound passion: to see people grow by studying and applying God’s Word in their daily lives. His greatest lesson is one he shares freely: that when you study Scripture earnestly, you begin to see life as God sees it. As long as his writings continue to inspire and encourage others in their spiritual journey, Robert plans to keep writing, producing works that guide believers toward truth, faith, and growth.
