Maitte Peñalver

Maitte Penalver is a three-time cancer survivor and stem cell transplant recipient whose journey through breast cancer and non-Hodgkin lymphoma forever shaped her outlook on life. After facing some of the most difficult battles imaginable, she emerged with a renewed sense of purpose: to inspire, guide, and uplift others walking through their own challenges.

With honesty, vulnerability, and resilience, Maitte shares her story to remind others that healing is not just physical—it is emotional, mental, and spiritual. She writes with the heart of someone who has been there, offering encouragement, practical insight, and unwavering hope to those navigating the aftermath of illness, trauma, or major life transitions.

Maitte is also a co-author of a collaborative book with a group of inspirational women, a project that celebrates strength, perseverance, and the power of community. Through her writing, she aims to create a safe and empowering space where readers feel seen, supported, and understood.

Beyond her role as a writer and advocate, Maitte finds peace by the ocean, joy in reading, and fulfillment in helping others rediscover their own inner strength. She is passionate about turning pain into purpose and believes that even the darkest seasons of life can give way to light, renewal, and growth.

Her mission is simple yet profound: to remind others that no matter how many times life knocks you down, there is always a way to rise again—stronger, braver, and more connected to who you truly are.
